The guitar features a Thermo Aged™ African mahogany neck (low oval grip) with rounded fretboard edges, offering high stability, low weight, and comfortable playability. The Macassar ebony fretboard delivers fast response, defined bass, and clear highs with long sustain. A solid Sitka spruce top, combined with a solid African mahogany back and sides, ensures a balanced sound with a wide frequency spectrum and warm midrange. The Ibanez T-bar dual pickup system (undersaddle and contact pickup) with custom electronics allows for flexible sound pickup and natural signal amplification for stage and studio use. Gotoh® tuners ensure precise tuning stability. Sound-relevant details such as a Macassar ebony bridge, ebony bridge pins, and Luminlay side dots support resonance, durability, and orientation on dark stages. An Ibanez ROADTOUR hardshell case is included. Special design features, such as the A.I.R. port for improved self-awareness, the Advanced Auditorium Body for optimized balance and stronger low-mids, and the specially developed X-M bracing, ensure high dynamics, fast response, and a balanced tone. The tapered headstock improves tuning stability, while the Advanced Access Cutaway allows unrestricted access to high positions.
