The Ibanez Alpha series, whose name – “ALPHA” – stands for a new beginning, is aimed at modern, progressive guitarists and combines innovative technology, ergonomic design, and maximum playability. The guitar offers an ergonomically designed body shape with sophisticated contours that enable an immersive playing experience and open up new creative horizons. At its heart is the Parallel Wizard AS 5-piece maple/walnut neck, whose asymmetrical shape on the bass side ensures a natural finger position, while the continuous thickness of 21 mm guarantees comfort and control in all positions. The ebony fingerboard delivers precise response, powerful mids, and brilliant highs with long sustain. Jumbo stainless steel frets guarantee durability, quick access, and clear articulation for chords and single notes. The American basswood body rounds out the sound with a balanced, linear tone. The Alpha impresses sonically with Fishman® Fluence™ Modern humbuckers (Alnico + Ceramic), which deliver powerful, aggressive sound with high clarity. The voicing switch allows you to switch between modern high-output tone and clear, open sounds. Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners ensure stable tuning and quick string changes, while the mono-rail G2 bridge guarantees excellent string separation, resonance transfer, and flexible string installation. The Alpha also scores with a well-thought-out ergonomic design: The elbow contour stabilizes the pick arm, the three-bolt neck joint increases stability and facilitates access to high positions, and the back contour tilts the guitar into an optimal position for visibility and playing comfort. The flat, wide body bottom prevents slipping when sitting, while the rear jack socket does not restrict freedom of movement. Luminescent side dots facilitate orientation on dark stages, and the guitar is safely transported in the included Ibanez gig bag. The Ibanez Alpha is thus more than just an instrument: it combines ergonomics, sound diversity, and modern features in one package, opening up completely new playing and expressive possibilities for guitarists.
