The AR series is one of the classics among Ibanez guitars. The three-piece maple neck provides rich resonance, while the jatoba fingerboard with its reddish-brown color delivers full midrange and clear highs. The combination of a Macassar ebony top, okoume back, and maple body delivers a balanced sound: powerful mids, tight bass, and brilliant highs. Equipped with Super 58 pickups, the AR produces a vintage sound with moderate output that is suitable for both classic and modern playing styles. The Gibraltar Performer bridge guarantees rich sustain and reliable tuning stability, while the low-positioned string saddles offer high playing comfort. The Quik Change Classic tailpiece allows for quick and easy string changes. Two Tri-Sound switches expand the tonal possibilities by giving each humbucker three different sounds, significantly increasing the guitar's versatility.
