The impetus behind each one of these unique instruments comes from a desire by the Ibanez bass development team to satisfy the particular needs of many players. The BTB605MS comes with a 5pc Maple/Walnut neck with Graphite reinforcement rods in neck-through construction, an Okoume wing body, and a Panga Panga fretboard with a 37 - 35 inch multi-scale. Furthermore, it features T1 pickups with Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, a 3-way Mid frequency switch, and an MR5S bridge.
