The bass features a 5-piece maple/walnut neck with graphite reinforcement for maximum stability, clear response, and long sustain, a rosewood fingerboard with focused midrange, and medium stainless steel frets for long durability. The okoume body wings provide a bright, solid fundamental tone. The innovative T1 humbuckers offer exceptional tonal variety and high playing comfort thanks to individually mounted, individually adjustable coils—including comfortable, rounded edges for ergonomic thumb placement. With the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, a 3-way mid-frequency switch, EQ bypass, and the MR5S bridge with variable string spacing adjustment, the sound can be precisely tailored and adapted to personal preferences. Special features include the 35–34" multiscale neck, which ensures easier playability of the high strings while maintaining sufficient tension on the low strings, and the neck-through construction, which provides powerful sustain and effortless access to high positions. The result is an instrument that perfectly combines innovative technology, boutique quality, and practical design.
