The impetus behind each one of these unique instruments comes from a desire by the Ibanez bass development team to satisfy the particular needs of many players. The BTB866MS comes with a 5pc Maple/Walnut neck in neck-through construction with Graphite reinforcement rods and a Panga Panga fretboard with a 37-34.5 inch multi scale. Furthermore, it features an Ash top on an Ash/Okoume wing body, T1 pickups with an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ and a MR5S bridge.
