The series with Joe Satriani Signature models by Ibanez has continued in the (electro-)acoustic guitars. This JSA5-VB electro-acoustic guitar has a body that is named after the guitar hero, the JSA. With its full and bright sound, this guitar is perfect for various playing techniques like playing chords, solo parts, and fingerpicking. The JSA5-VB is a cutaway model and is equipped with a Fishman pickup and preamplifier.

Ibanez JSA5-VB Signature Model: a clear sound

The JSA5 Vintage Burst has a top made of Engelmann spruce which gives this guitar its rich and firm sound. The neck, sides, and back are made of mahogany and this wood type is known for its sufficient trebles and mids and a deep, bright sound. This is ideal if you want a full and warmer sound. The neck of the JSA5-VB is also made of mahogany, has 20 frets, and is attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fretboard, made of ash wood, is fitted with abalone inlays and the head of this electro-acoustic guitar features a Joe Satriani signature.

The JSA5-VB is equipped with a Fishman® S-Core pickup with a Presys preamplifier. This compact and advanced Presys system gives you control over the volume and equalizing (bass, mid, treble). The guitar also has a phase switch for the reduction of feedback and the Presys preamp has a built-in tuner with LED display. Thanks to the unique design of this Fishman preamp, you can quickly switch batteries.
